REASONED, who ran at Yarmouth last week, and POTENZA both run at the local track tomorrow. POTENZA makes his belated stable debut for us having been ready to run a for a couple of weeks but we have been waiting for some decent ground. With the turf season nearing its end we are running out of options and we felt that Yarmouth's sandy soil will be less testing than other tracks at the moment. There are 16 runners and it does look a competitive race but we are keen to give him a run before turning him out for a holiday. We have been very pleased with at home so if he does handle the ground he could run well. These will be the most testing conditions he has encountered though.
REASONED was fourth over the same course and distance last week where she ran her usual honest race. She is drawn 7 of the 11 runners and Ryan Tate rides her once again. There is no logical reason why she should beat the second that day, DUTCH STORY, but a different day can bring different results. We have put cheekpieces on for the first time, not that she is anyway ungenuine, but to help the jockey as if there is no pace we would consider making the running on her. She can hopefully run another good race and be thereabouts again.
