Captain Felix can defy penalty at Ludlow tomorrow

Wednesday, October 25, 2017
CAPTAIN FELIX runs over hurdles at Ludlow tomorrow carrying a 7 pound penalty for his win at Huntingdon last week. The handicapper put him up 10 pounds for that win so he is theoretically 3 pounds well in so must have a good chance. 2 miles at Ludlow should suit him and the ground will be similar to last weeks conditions. It is relatively soon after his last run but he seems to have come out of that race well so we hope he can run well again.
SPEEDCRAFT also runs tomorrow on the flat at Chelmsford. She runs in a 10 furlong nursery and has a good draw in stall 5 of the 15 runners. This will be her first run in a handicap so it is lower grade race than she has contested before. She has worked well over a trip at home so we are hoping for the best tomorrow.
