2 live chances on Wednesday

ARIODANTE ran very well at Yarmouth last week to finish third and can hopefully improve on that tomorrow at Nottingham. He is running in a 10 furlong apprentice race and will be ridden by Jason Tate’s nephew, Luke Morris. Jason used to be James Eustace’s stable jockey. He rides well and has ridden a few winners and has a very good percentage of winners to rides. Apprentice races are usually run at a good gallop which should suit ARIODANTE, he will also handle the fast ground well so should have an excellent chance tomorrow. LOCAL FANCY is also in great form at present and she is going to run on the polytrack at Kempton tomorrow evening. She really wants soft ground but as the ground has dried up the all weather surface is her only option. There is obviously a question mark as to whether she will handle the surface but if she does she should also have an excellent chance She is running over a mile for the first time but seemed to stay a stiff 7 furlongs at Sandown so a mile at Kempton shouldn’t test her stamina too much. She does have turf entries too including one at Newbury on Saturday but it would need to rain significantly for her to run there aswell.

WHISTELUPTHEWIND is finally beginning to show some form on the racetrack, finishing fourth at Catterick last week. She has always worked well at home but has yet to transfer this to the racecourse. She is entered at Bath on Sunday and if she gets a run she should run well. She has not been able to handle soft ground at all so will appreciate the drier underfoot conditions we are having now.
