SANDY COVE is back on the track again quickly at Epsom tomorrow after his gallant second at Brighton last week. He is due to go up 5 pounds and this was the only suitable race for him to run off his old mark. He handles Brighton well so Epsom should suit him too. There are only 7 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride and he takes a valuable 3 pounds off his back. The main worry is the ground. He is a proven performer on good and faster ground but we don't really know if he handles cut in the ground. There is rain forecast and if the ground did become very soft he may not run. If the ground does not go against him he should have a good chance and he deserves to get his head in front again.
