SPA'S DANCER is one of 3 runners from the yard on Thursday and is the first to perform. He runs in the Listed Hambleton Handicap over a mile at York and is drawn 9 of the 12 runners. His form this spring on the turf is working out well and ground conditions should be ideal for him, anything softer than good will suit him. It is a very hot handicap but he should be suited by the track and he seems in good form at home. Jim Crowley is in the saddle again, he rode him last time out at Newbury when he was second in the Spring Cup, it would be nice if they could go one better on Thursday. On that form he should be thereabouts and we just hope he gets a bit of luck and finishes with his head in front this time.
AVIATOR runs at the same meeting but later in the day in a 2 mile handicap. This track and distance will suit him much better than 12 furlongs at Thirsk which was his last run. He will also like the soft ground. We are still learning about him, this will only be his second run for us, but we are happy with the way he has been going at home and we can see him running a decent race.
TIGHT LIPPED is the final runner of the day at Newmarket evening meeting. He is drawn 5 of the 20 runners. He was third in this race last year so we hope this track will see him coming back to his best form. 10 furlongs on this course on good ground should suit him well. Rosie Jessop is reunited with him, she finished second on him at Sandown last year so he runs well for her. Lets hope he can step up on his Windsor form and run well on Thursday.
