SPA'S DANCER is well drawn in stall 1 and has Ryan Moore on board at Kempton tomorrow. Ryan rode him to win the Whitsun Cup at Sandown last year so hopefully they can be a winning combination again. He is stepping up to 10 furlongs tomorrow but that should suit him. Luke Morris, who rode him last time, felt he would be better over this trip on the all weather and Ryan Moore thought that he should stay this distance on the turf so all the signs are positive. The track at Kempton should also suit him better than Lingfield as it is more of a galloping track. The race is on the inner loop but that is where the low draw is an advantage. Hopefully he can pop out, be handy and make the best of his way home from the bend. He should have improved from his recent run as this was his first run back since last June. The horse is very well so a big run is expected.
BAAN also heads for Kempton to run in a 2 mile handicap. this trip should suit him a lot better than 12 furlongs which he has been running over recently. We are not sure if he is as good on the polytrack as he is on the turf and he is still racing off a 2 pound higher mark than when he last won. He is reunited with Rosie Jessop tomorrow though who seems to click with him very well having ridden him to victory twice last year. The horse seems in very good form at home and he should run a decent race.
