MAJOR CRISPIES runs in a 7 furlong nursery at York tomorrow and has a good chance. He is drawn 11 of the 13 runners but this shouldn't be a disadvantage over this trip and they are likely to come up the middle of the track. The ground should be perfect by tomorrow as it is currently good, good/soft in places and there is no more rain forecast. We thought he needed fast ground but Martin Harley, who rode him last time out at Goodwood, felt he would prefer a bit of cut in the ground. He ran very well that day, only beaten 1 1/2 lengths, and he runs off the same mark again. Ryan Tate takes the ride and claims 5 pounds so he should be thereabouts tomorrow. The horse has never run a bad race and is in good form at home, he deserves to win a race of this type.
