VIKING ROSE returns to Yarmouth on Tuesday and has a good chance of going one better than last time. She was just beaten there on her seasonal reappearance over the same distance of 7 furlongs. She does carry top weight but there are only 7 runners. She has form on a variety of ground but has never run on very soft ground so hopefully it will dry up a little before Tuesday.
SCOTTISH STAR heads for Kempton on Tuesday evening. He runs in a mile handicap and there are 12 runners. He is a winner on the polytrack so the surface will suit him. Hopefully a line can be put through his last run at Yarmouth where he appeared not to handle the soft ground, he had never run on that ground before. He has been working well all year so hopefully he can show his true colours on Tuesday. If he can reproduce the form he shows at home then you can see him running a good race on Tuesday.
