IRON CONDOR and KARKY SCHULTZ, both owned by Harold Nass, head for Goodwood on Sunday. IRON CONDOR is attempting to follow up his recent all weather Kempton win. The race is over the same distance and he runs off only a 1 pound higher handicap mark as he has a different rating on the turf to the all weather. There is no reason why he should not be as effective on the turf as he has been placed but just hasn't had the best of luck. He will have title chasing jockey, Paul Hanagan, on board so will get every assistance from the saddle. It does look a competitive race but he must have a great chance. James is hoping the ground will be good as this will be ideal for him.
KARKY SCHULTZ runs in the 2 mile handicap for jump jockeys, Felix de Giles rides him. He needed his first run at Yarmouth recently and the ground was very testing that day. He will definitely strip fitter this time. There is a question mark as to whether he stays 2 miles on the flat. He gets this trip over hurdles but does not stay a yard further. It will be a nice day out for the owner to have 2 runners and to go home with a winner or 2 would be a great thrill.
