DOYENNE DREAM runs at Newmarket tomorrow in a 12 furlong fillies maiden and there are only 6 runners. Some of the big yards are represented so it is likely one or two will be too strong for her but if she gets placed she will have run well. She ran a very promising race at Yarmouth first time out this season, finishing second. Admittedly the winner won very easily so it is hard to know how valid the form is. That was over 10 furlongs and the step up in trip should suit her. The ground was good/firm at Yarmouth so the going tomorrow shouldn't worry her. The track should suit her too as she is a big long striding filly as long as she can handle the dip. She is a well balanced individual so hopefully it won't inconvenience her. She has come on from her first run so she should run well.
Plans for the other horses entered this week have been disrupted by the continous dry spell. They need some rain before they will run.
