STORMING REDD ran very well on his racecourse debut at Folkestone and can step up on that performance at Yarmouth tomorrow. There is a slight worry that it is only 12 days since his first run but he has come out that race very well and this is an ideal race for him. He should run well but there could be 1 or 2 too good for him on past form. James Eustace was very pleased with the way he took his first race and sees him as a horse with a future. He ran well over the same trip last time but may appreciate further in time.
TORRAN SOUND makes his handicap debut at Beverely tomorrow over 12 furlongs. It is a big step up in trip for him so it is a bit of a gamble, let's hope it works. He has been a tricky horse in the past as he wouldn't come out of the stalls last year! He also spent alot of the time riderless on the Heath. He did run at the end of last year and has not done anything wrong on the racecourse since then. On pedigree he should stay so let's hope he shows that tomorrow. His future is planned to be as a dual purpose horse.
GENEVA GEYSER makes his seasonal debut at York on Wednesday. He was gelded over ther winter and has done really well from 3 to 4 years. He will hopefully be a more straightforward horse this year. His winning form last year was over 10 furlongs but his best run was over 12 furlongs at Thirsk. He is running over the longer trip on Wednesday. Last year he liked to make the running but hopefully this year he will be more flexible in how he is ridden. He should run a decent race but he does have to carry top weight and has not had the benefit of a prevous run this season.
