Yarmouth seems to be the popular track at the moent, with 3 runners there today and 4 tomorrow. There are some good chances on both days. BABAJAGA kicks off proceedings in the first race, a 6 furlong maiden auction race. She is a laid back filly and has come on from her fist run at Lingfield. Hopefully this race has sharpened her up and cut in the ground should help her. She will hopefully put in an improved performance tomorrow. Don't be put off by her tail swishing, she does not seem an ungenuine filly in anyway.
FREEDOM FIRE is having his first run in a handicap and over a longer trip of 12 furlongs. He has some good form in maidens over 8 and 10 furlongs and has looked as if this distance should be more to his liking. The cut in the ground should also help him. He is a nice genuine horse, and although this looks a competitive contest, he should run well.
TURKISH LOKUM is another stepping up in trip from 7 to 8 furlongs, she runs in a fillies only handicap. She ran well finsihing third last time out and on reflection hit the front too soon that day. Her pedigree she suggests she should stay and if she does she has a very good chance.
The line up tomorrow is completed by INTEGRIA. He runs in a 7 furlong 3 year olds only handicap. He ran well over 6 furlongs last time to finsih third. He had the blinkers on for the first time last time out and they will be re applied tomorrow. He travels better in them and makes the jockeys job a bit easier as he is a bit idle. It looks a winnable race for him.
On Wednesday ROLEPLAY is the only runner. She takes to the polytrack at Lingfield over 7 furlongs. She ran really well last time out finishing second but looked in need of an extra furlong. She seems in even better in form at home since that race. The only question mark is whether she will handle the track, she is not the most natural at coming down hill. She has a reasonable draw, 6 of 14, and has a good chance if handling the undulations.
