GENEVA GEYSER is drawn 1 on Thursday evening in the 6 furlong maiden at Great Leighs. James Eustace is hoping that he can benefit from this and that he will have a far better experience than he did on his his first run at Windsor. He had a terrible introduction to racing as he clipped heels and fell, hopefully he has not been affected by this incident. He is nice horse and would not be without a chance if he breaks well from the inside draw. The other 2 year olds who have run towards the end of the year have run well and he would go as nicely as them at home. One just hopes that he takes it all in his stride and is not affected by the experience of his first run. Whatever happens on Thursday he is going to be a nice horse for the future.
The jumping string ran very well again last week. Owner Harold Nass saw both his horses perform well at Sandown on consecutive days. KHARKY SCHULTZ ran his best race to date over hurdles finishing a close third, with a better jump at the last he might have held on and won. AT THE MONEY was running in a better class race than previously and acquitted himself really well, finishing a close 5th in a big field. The great thing is that both horses have come out of their races exceptionally well.
