BLUE ARCTIC ran another promising race yesterday, finishing 3rd in a fillies maiden at Newbury. She was 3rd on her debut at Yarmouth recently and ran well again yesterday in a more competitive race. She looks a future winner and should be a nice type for nurseries later in the season. James Eustace still has 2 shares remaining in the filly who runs under the Blue Peter Racing banner. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting some instant involvement in racehorse ownership.
FLASH OF FIRE runs tomorrow at Great Leighs in a 14 furlong handicap. The trip and surface should be ideal for him. He has always worked well on the polytrack at home and has been looking as if he needs this trip. He was fourth last time out and the form of that race looks reasonable so he should run well tomorrow. It is a competitive looking handicap but he does have a very low weight.
DOUBLE ON RED is stepping back in trip at Lingfield on Saturday. She is running over 7 furlongs, a trip she ran well over as a 2 year old but hasn't tried it this season. The plan will be too make the running, she will have the aid of blinkers purely to sharpen her up over this trip.
On Sunday WESTER ROSS heads for Salisbury to run in a 10 furlong handicap. He has not found his form so far this season but seems brighter at home and will like the fast ground. He may have been finding 12 furlongs too far so hopefully the drop back in trip will help him and he will have no headgear this time.
