DOUBLE ON RED has a good chance in a mares and fillies only 10 furlong handicap at Pontefract tomorrow evening. The only question mark is whether that trip on such a stiff track will stretch her stamina too far. She quite possibly didn't quite get home over the same distance at Bath last time out but the ground was alot more testing that day, it will be faster ground tomorrow. The race has cut up and there are only 9 runners, if she gets a bit of luck in running she should go very close.
On Saturday evening COLTON runs over hurdles at Stratford. He should run well providing they don't get any rain there. He ran very well at Huntingdon last time out and tomorrow's race is an easier contest.
KARKY SCHULTZ has to make the short journey to Newmarket racecourse on Sunday. He too should have a great chance. Any rain they may get there will be a bonus for him. He was third on his seasonal debut at Great Leighs so can hopefully improve on that run on Sunday.
