DOUBLE ON RED will hopefully follow in the family tradition when she makes her debut at Newbury tomorrow. She is a ¾ sister to Rapscallion and ½ sister to Orcadian, both of whom seemed to really like the track and ran some of their best races there. James Eustace thinks she is a nice filly and has been working well at home. She is drawn 7 of the 14 runners which should be a good draw. The ground shouldn’t be a problem, she seems to go on any ground at home. The forecast is for heavy rain, the rest of the family like soft ground so it shouldn’t worry her if the ground does change.
Another promising 2 year old, SECOND OPINION, is due to have her first run at Windsor on Monday. She has also been working nicely at home so will hopefully run a decent race too.
