TOPANTICIPATION and POTENZA are both intended runners at Haydock tomorrow in the hope that the going remains good. We were delighted with POTENZA's recent win there on soft ground. The ground should be fine for him especially as he is stepping up in trip to 12 furlongs which we feel will suit him better. The handicapper was not too harsh, raising him 4 pounds, for his recent win so we are hopeful of another good run tomorrow.
TOPANTICIPATION ran very well at Newmarket last time out finishing 2nd to RICETTA who was recently 3rd in the Group 3 Musidora at York so the form of that race looks very good. She is running in handicap company for the first time which means she does take on older fillies but it is a handicap for fillies only so it is an ideal race for her. She has been in very good form at home since her last race. She does seems better suited by cut in the ground so we are hoping that the going remains good for tomorrow. If it changes to fast ground we would consider taking both horses out.
