It is great news that racing finally gets the go ahead to resume today. We will have our first runners on Wednesday at Kempton and Yarmouth. HIGHFALUTNG runs in a mile handicap at Kempton and is drawn 5 of the 12 runners. He has been a winner and second over this trip at Kempton but conceivable is better over 7 furlongs. He was ready to run and this race was the earliest opportunity for him so we thought we would give it a go. He is in good form at home and should be fit enough as he hasn't missed any work during the delay. He was ridden to good effect by Gerald Mouse last year but he is unavailable so he will be ridden by Andrea Atzeni who will be a very able substitute.
TOPANTICIPATION makes her racecourse debut at Yarmouth in a mile fillies maiden and is drawn 1 of the 10 runners. She is one of several horses we inherited when Mark Tompkins retired but she did not come into the yard until early this year. We have been very pleased with her but she still has alot to learn and is sure to need the racecourse experience. She can be a bit keen at home hence the fitting of a hood. She is likely to need further in the future but we wanted to start her off over a mile and step up in distance in time. We aren't sure about the ground but she is not a heavy topped filly so we think she will handle it. She will be ridden by Shane Kelly who knows her well as he has been riding out for us this spring. We hope she can make a pleasing debut.
