Two runners at Wetherby tomorrow

Tuesday, November 26, 2019
SEE THE CITY and PERIPHERIQUE head up the A1 to Wetherby tomorrow and both will be ridden by Jack Quinlan. PERIPHERIQUE runs in a 2 mile juvenile maiden hurdle in which there are 11 runners. She ran very well at Fakenham on debut and looks a proper National Hunt horse in the making. She probably needs further in time so the stiffer track and softer ground tomorrow should play to her strengths and we can see her running a decent race.
SEE THE CITY takes on a big field of 15 runners in a 2 mile novice hurdle race. His last run at Fakenham was effectively like his first run again as there had been a long break between his 2 runs over hurdles. He jumped well that day and should appreciate the stiffer test of stamina and the softer ground at Wetherby tomorrow. It does look a competitive race though so we just hope he jumps round well and we will see how he goes.
