Consistent Coverham back at Kempton

Tuesday, August 20, 2019
COVERHAM returns to Kempton tomorrow evening where he is already a 4 times course and distance winner. He has been in good form on the turf recently running perfectly well at Yarmouth last time out. He came out of that race well, this contest looks ideal for him and he is clearly more at home over this course and distance. He is drawn 9 of the 9 runners and Ryan Tate rides him who knows him very well. We hope his consistency can be rewarded and he can get his head in front there once again.
SIBLE HEDINGHAM also heads for Kempton to run in a 12 furlong novice median auction race. She made an encouraging debut at Pontefract where she was very green but once the penny dropped she stayed on well and was doing her best work in the closing stages. We are stepping her up in trip tomorrow which should suit her. The unknown is whether she will act on the surface but she has worked on it at home and this seemed an ideal race for her. We hope she can run a nice race and build on her encouraging first run.
