The weather is rather playing havoc with running plans but WIND PLACE AND SHO will be our first runner of 2018 at Leicester tomorrow where the ground is currently heavy. He is running in a 2 mile handicap hurdle and there are 12 runners. He ran very well last time out over the same course and distance finishing a close second. It will be alot harder for him this time though as the handicapper initially put him up 3 pounds after the race and then another 3 pounds without running. It is always frustrating to go up in the handicap so much for finishing second. WIND PLACE AND SHO seems in good form at home and the only slight unknown is the ground. He has form on the flat on all types of ground apart from heavy but we are hopeful that he will handle it and that he can run well.
