MACKSVILLE and LONGSIDE are declared to run at Yarmouth tomorrow and Ryan Tate has been booked to ride them both. MACKSVILLE drops back to 12 furlongs tomorrow and is drawn 10 of 13 runners. He won over 14 furlongs at Chelmsford and then was tried over 2 miles at Lingfield but didn't appear to stay. We are hoping that on slow ground and with the blinkers still on the drop back to 12 furlongs will be fine for him. This will be his last run on the flat this year as he is due to run over jumps this winter. He has done some schooling at home and will be an interesting runner over hurdles.
LONGSIDE is entered in the Horses In Training Sales next Thursday and we can highly recommend him to continue to run on the flat particularly as he is an ideal ride for an amateur or an apprentice. We gave him a bit of break and then had to run him on the polytrack as the ground was soft everywhere. He ran a decent race but got hampered in the straight when beginning to tire. We didn't want to run him on the all weather again so he is declared for tomorrow but he may not run if they get too much more rain. He seems in good form at home and it would be nice to see him on the racecourse before the sales.
