SANDY COVE drops back in trip to 10 furlongs at Leicester tomorrow. Although he does stay further he can be a bit keen in his races so we thought it would be interesting to see how he performs back in trip and he has won over this distance. A track like Leicester should suit him well as it has a stiff finish and they should go a good pace early on. It looks the ideal race for him and the ground should be in his favour. There are only 6 runners and Louis Steward takes the ride. He got on well with the horse when he rode him at Doncaster recently but was given an impossible task from the draw. He is riding well and his 3 pound claim could prove useful tomorrow.
